The interim government will go for elections only after holding talks with political parties on reform reports, Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan said on Thursday.

The six reform commissions, formed by the government, are expected to submit their reports within three months, Rizwana told a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka city.
Once the reports are submitted, the government will hold talks with political parties to achieve political consensus, make specific commitments, and implement necessary amendments before moving forward with elections, she added.
On Wednesday, Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus in an address to the nation announced the formation of these commissions as a preliminary step towards reforms.
