BFF completes signing formalities with 36 female footballers

An official of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) confirmed that they completed signing formalities with 36 female footballers on Monday.

The official also added that they were under the process of having contracts with 19 more women footballers.

“The signing formalities with 36 women footballers have already been completed. A total of 55 contract letters will be made, the rest of other is on process,” he added.

It was learnt that the 12 footballers — Afeida Khandaker, Shaheda Akhtar Ripa, Kohati Kisku, Munki Khatun, Sapna Rani, Surma Akter, Irene Parvin, Akalima Khatun, Sauravi Akanda Prity, Arpita Bishwas, Halima Khatun and Yearzan Begum – were among 36 footballers.

The BFF official did not disclose whether the 18 senior footballers, who boycotted training under head coach Peter Butler, were on the contracts or not.
